Terms & conditions: Free After 5 SMS Promotion
These are the Terms & Conditions governing the relationship between Digicel Aruba and Prepaid customers of mobile telephone service during the “Free After 5 SMS Prepaid promotion (“the Promotion”), for the period 16th of November (as from 12:00:01) until further notice.
1 Participation
- All Digicel Aruba Prepaid active customers are eligible for the Promotion (‘Customers’);
- Customers must qualify each day for the promotion to receive the 100 FREE text messages Digicel to Digicel Local
- Customers are required to send at least Five (5) text messages in the same day (“SMS”) to ANY mobile number locally or internationally in order to receive 100 FREE Digicel to Digicel Local SMS;
- Once the Customer has sent 100 free local Digicel to local Digicel SMS the day, the following text message will be chargeable at the normal rate;
- Qualifying text messages can be sent to any (different) mobile number locally or internationally;
- Customers may use their bundle SMS plan to send SMS can qualify for promotion after they have used up their SMS bundle and send 5 chargeable SMS. Customer will then receive 100 FREE SMS for the day to send Digicel to Digicel locally
- The 100 FREE SMS may be used to send local on–net person-to-person SMS That is, to other local Digicel customers within the market of the sender.
- The 100 FREE SMS are valid for the day of qualifying and expire at 11:59:59 pm on the day received;
- The following SMS' are not valid for the promotion and do not count towards qualifying to receive the 100 FREE text messages:
- SMS sent to premium numbers (such as Digi Info);
- SMS sent while roaming;
- Only chargeable SMS sent to any mobile number locally or overseas qualify for the promotion.
- The 100 FREE SMS' are valid until 11:59:59 pm on the day that they were received;
- FREE SMS received do not roll-over to the next day. All unused SMS will expire at 11:59:59pm each day of qualifying;
- If customer has credit in dedicated account (“DA”) balance for SMS to Digicel numbers, credit in DA will be used first hence; customer will not qualify for the promotion using DA credit. Customer will only qualify for the promotion after being charged from their main account balance.
- Digicel shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss suffered by customer for anyone claiming through customer due to suspension of the promotion Digicel will have no liability to customer or any joint user for any claims whatsoever resulting from the inability to provide the services due to factors beyond our control.
- This agreement shall be governed and construes through and under the laws of Aruba. Disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of Aruba.
