Digicel INFO
Digicel INFO is a new product that allows any Digicel subscriber to access information
on demand from a list of keywords provided. The information is sent directly
to your Digicel mobile phone all for the price of a text message.
How it works
A Digicel customer writes a key word (see below) in a text message
and sends it to short code number 4636 (INFO) which provides access to our service
and then you receive a message back with the required information. For example
if the key word is NEWS then you type NEWS, send it to the short code and you
will get a text message back immediately with the latest local news headlines.
1. Select ‘Messages’ from your phone menu
2. Select ‘Write message’
3. Type in the keyword (listed below) for the information that you want. For example for local sport, type SPORT to get the latest local sports headlines.
4. SEND this message to 4636 (INFO)
And that’s it. You’ll get the digiTEXT within a minute with the information that you requested.
The content of some information you request may require the service to send
you more than one digiTEXT for the information to be complete. digiINFO cost 50ct.
